Plus all the beers everyone else stocks…..

Want to know the answers?

A Kolsch is a type of beer just as Pilsner, Ale and Stout are types of beer. There are many different breweries who produce Kolsch and all are light in flavour and served in the same, specially styled glasses. To qualify as a Kolsch the beer must not only be brewed in Koln (Cologne) in Germany, it must also be brewed within the old city walls.
We serve Reissdorf Kolsch, a popular, uniquely light flavoured Kolsch.

The beers we serve that adhere to the Reinheitsgebot are Lowenbrau on tap, Efes Turkish beer, Reissdorf Kolsch, Staropramen Czech Lager, Cascade Green, Little Creatures Pale Ale, Bright Ale and Pilsner & Bohemian Pilsner. Some Vrucht (fruit) biers, such as Belle Vue Kriek are aged in oak barrels with fruit for up to 3 months in order to soften the beer and increase it’s aroma.

A magnum of Cooper’s 2004 Vintage Ale was sold at a charity auction in Adelaide for $2100 for one bottle. It was signed by Tim, Glenn, Maxwell and Bill Cooper.

Strict conditions govern the granting of “Abbey” beer status in Belgium. Some of the requirements to become an Abbey beer include the total profit from selling the beer is donated to charity and the beer must be brewed by monks in an Abbey or Church.
